It was all good just a week ago.
Last week, Sha’Carri Richardson was on cloud nine when she beat out Jamaican Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Herah in the women’s 100-meters in less-than-ideal racing conditions.
Richardson ran a 11.29, beating the gold medalist Thompson-Herah by .01.
The good times did not continue this week.
Before the race at the Diamond League meet in Zurich, Richardson let her fans know that she would be racing for the final time in 2022.
She then went out and finished in last place as Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce smoked the field with a Meet Record of 10.65s to win her 5th Diamond League trophy in Zurich.
