Fans being back did not work out so well for some professional bikers. A massive crash is being talked about during stage 1 of the Tour de France after a spectator on the side of the road caused it with his huge sign.
The Dutch team were on the ride of the road when a fan, holding a sign, took out Tony Martin.
Martin was able to remount and start the stage again. Caleb Ewan, Jack Haig and Miguel Angel Lopez were among the other riders held up, according to Cycling News.
