Former Olympic snowboarder Ryan Wedding is reportedly on the run from the FBI, who want him on charges of drug trafficking and ordering hits.
The Canadian, now a fugitive, is accused of running a transnational drug operation that was responsible for large quantities of cocaine being moved from Colombia to Canada and the United States.
According to the FBI’s website, the former snowboarder, who previously represented Canada, should be considered armed and dangerous.
Ryan Wedding Is Facing Some Serious Charges
Wedding faces charges of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute controlled substances, conspiracy to export cocaine, continuing criminal enterprise, murder in connection with a continuing criminal enterprise, and attempt to commit murder.
“43-year-old Wedding — who used aliases like “El Jefe,” “Giant,” and “Public Enemy” — and his accomplices are being accused of conspiring to ship huge quantities of cocaine from Colombia to Mexico and through stash houses in the LA area … and then delivering it to couriers to be taken to Canada via semi-trucks,” TMZ notes.

“To see their operation through, Wedding and an associate allegedly ordered violent crimes … including two murders of family members in Ontario, Canada in retaliation for an intercepted drug shipment that was passing through SoCal. They also allegedly ordered another murder over a drug debt.”
The organization Ryan Wedding is accused of running is believed to have used long-haul semi-trucks to move cocaine from stash houses in Los Angeles to Canada. His operation has been linked to multiple violent incidents.
The FBI is offering up to $50,000 for information leading to his arrest following a warrant being issued on September 17. Wedding is one of 16 people charged in this case.
