Pole vaulter Alysha Newman had been on OnlyFans for quite some time, but she just experienced a huge bump in money and traffic after she was shown around the world during the Paris Olympics.
Alysha Newman won Canada’s first-ever medal in track and field at the Paris Olympics, as she finished behind the United States’ Katie Moon and Australia’s Nina Kennedy.
The 30-year-old went incredibly viral after celebrating her bronze medal by twerking for the crowd at Stade de France.
The extra attention brought on by her Olympic performance caused her site to crash, and her entire team jumped on a call to figure things out.
Alysha Newman told Daily Mail that her following on the site increased by hundreds of thousands and that she had added tens of thousands of new subscribers on OnlyFans since the “twerk heard round the world.”
When asked if winning a medal and going viral had added to her number of subscribers, “Oh yeah. Oh, for sure, I would say, like, even Instagram, like I’d say like ten times more than the previous month…”
She continued, “It’s quite insane. My whole team, we actually had to get on a phone call because a lot of our… the website was crashing because of how many people actually came on.”

Alysha Newman Reveals The Insane Numbers of Followers She Has Gained Since The Paris Twerk
Alysha Newman revealed she received 20,000 new subscribers and counting since the start of the Paris Games.
While many know the site for nudes to be seen, the 30-year-old said she also uses the site to ‘connect with fans’ and give them an inside glimpse into her life as an elite athlete.
She is well aware of why so many are drawn to her, and it has nothing to do with their wanting to see her life.
‘There’s always a [stigma] around it, and I am well aware of it,’ she said. ‘But I have so much faith in the company and where it’s going.’
Daily Mail added that Alysha Newman is currently charging $7.79 for a subscription, which means she has likely earned at least $155,800 from her new wave of subscribers alone.
Newman further added that she had upwards of 200,000 followers on Instagram since the beginning of the Olympics. She has been using the earnings from OnlyFans to help cover the costs associated with being an elite athlete.
‘The knowledge that I’ve been able to accumulate because of my financial gains with OnlyFans and my other sponsors, has only helped me get this bronze medal more than ever,’ she said.
