Sports influencer Rachel DeMita likely did not mean to grab a ton of attention, but that is exactly what happened.
The 34-year-old former Division I player came dressed to impress during USA Basketball’s exhibition victory over Australia in Abu Dhabi on Monday.
Rachel DeMita could be seen sitting courtside inside Etihad Arena as Team USA barely held on to win, 98-92 after Australia made a furious comeback in the fourth quarter.
DeMita was seen in a white USA windbreaker with red and blue trim and accents as she posted to her Instagram, where she has over one million followers.
Her first picture showed off her outfit while sitting courtside. She paired her look with white pants and white heels.
The second post was some action from the game, as Australia was on offense.
Rachel DeMita then posted a picture of the back of her USA windbreaker, while the fourth post was a short video of her waving to the crowd and giving the peace sign.

Rachel DeMita Once Called Out The Media Over The Caitlin Clark Hate
Last month, former college basketball player and current sports media personality Rachel DeMita did not mince a single word when she shared her thoughts about the WNBA amid the hate Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark has been receiving.
Clark’s treatment was a hot topic during her first few games in the league, as she was most notably pushed to the ground by Chicago Sky guard Chennedy Carter.
DeMita took to her Instagram account to vent in a video captioned, “us women need to do better.”
“I wanted to hold my judgment on this but the WNBA is getting downright embarrassing. Not only for the league but also for women as a whole. You’re not gonna gaslight me into thinking that the media is the one that created this narrative that a lot of players don’t like Caitlin Clark. At this point, it is clear as day,” DeMita shared.
DeMita called out the hard fouls and celebration of her being hit while reminding everybody that Clark is a huge reason why new fans are watching and attending these games.
