The Toronto Maple Leafs savagely trolled one of their own supporters on the jumbotron during Thursday night’s home game at Scotiabank Arena against the New Jersey Devils.
Auston Matthews led the Toronto Maple Leafs to a thrilling 4-3 overtime win against New Jersey to complete the season-series sweep. The game also marked the return of Devils bench boss Sheldon Keefe, who was fired by Toronto last year after five seasons at the helm.
It’s a tradition at hockey games for teams to troll fans by featuring them on the “Oblivious Cam” that’s shown on the jumbotron. On Thursday night, the Leafs decided to show a Leafs fan who appeared to be having a heated conversation with someone on the phone:

We continue to wonder if that fan ever found out that she was being shown on the jumbotron. At any rate, she got her money’s worth with the Leafs defeating a top NHL powerhouse in a fantastic comeback win.
Toronto Maple Leafs Are Cruising Through Regular Season
Toronto extended its winning streak to two with a 6-3 comeback victory over the archrival Montreal Canadiens on Saturday night. The Leafs scored six unanswered goals to improve to 29-16-2 on the season.
There’s just under half a regular season remaining, but Toronto is in a good position to win just their second division title since 2001. Of course, a team with this talent level needs to do far more than win division titles.
