Fans of the legendary movie “Mighty Ducks” are actively concerned for one of the beloved actors this week.
Shaun Weiss commemorated four years of sobriety earlier this week, but he has been sparking major concern from fans who think he may have relapsed after a series of concerning videos.
Shaun Weiss, a.k.a. ‘Goldberg The Goalie’ from the ‘Mighty Ducks’ movies, has been open about his recovery journey and his past drug addiction.
Weiss took to Instagram Wednesday to reassure fans that he’s been staying clean and sober after some said they were worried that his disheveled appearance in a previous clip indicated he had relapsed.
‘I’m OK, you don’t have to worry about me but thank you – it’s very sweet,’ the 45-year-old actor.
He also addressed concerns that there was a red substance on his forehead, noting that it was ‘consecrated ash from’ the famed Yoga practitioner Sadhguru. He then wiped the substance off of his head in a clip, telling followers, ‘Alright, OK is that better for you?’

Here is how fans responded:
Back in 2022, Weiss opened up about struggling with homelessness and recovering from an addiction to methamphetamine and heroin. He said during an Addiction Talk conversation at the time that it is “hard to see” photos of him from when he was battling the disease, sharing that he “looked horrible and deathly.”
He even lost his teeth during that period but was later gifted a full new set of teeth while living in a sober facility.
