Keith Olbermann has officially lost his mind.
In response to Russia arresting Brittney Griner for allegedly possessing banned substances, the former ESPN personality took to Twitter and thought of a plan to retaliate against the country.
Olbermann suggested American authorities should place Alex Ovechkin under arrest.
“Simple fix. Arrest Ovechkin.”
The 31-year-old Phoenix Mercury center was charged with smuggling and transporting cannabis after vape cartridges allegedly containing traces of hashish oil were discovered in her luggage. Because of that, she is now facing 10 years in prison.
Her trial is expected to begin this Friday and she is not expected to have any chance of beating it. Even if she won her case, unline in America, her acquittal can be overturned.

This past Monday, she also found out her detention was extended another six months.
“We are aware of and are closely monitoring the situation with Brittney Griner in Russia. We remain in constant contact with her family, her representation, the WNBA, and NBA,” the Mercury said in a statement. “We love and support Brittney and at this time our main concern is her safety, physical and mental health, and her safe return home.”
In nine seasons with Phoenix, Griner has averaged 17.7 points per game, 7.6 rebounds, and 1.8 assists.
She won a WNBA title and was named to the All-Star team seven times.
