Facing elimination and getting swept in the Stanley Cup Final on Monday against the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Canadiens overcame blowing two leads in Game 4, a four-minute penalty kill heading into overtime, and somehow sent the crowd home happy with a much needed victory.
The crowd inside the arena was crazy, but they had nothing on what was going on outside.
