Getting hit with a hard rubber projectile could certainly ruin anybody’s day, but for this one kid, it turned into a special moment.
On Monday, the Dallas Stars were taking on the St. Louis Blues when an errant puck cleared the protective glass and hit a young kid seated in the stands.
Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott saw what happened, so he sprung into action as he walked over to check on him and even took some selfies.
Oh, he also had a great time himself:

At least the kid went home happy with that interaction, because the Stars would end up losing 4-3 in the second round matchup of the Stanley Cup Playoffs against the Blues and fall back in the series 2-1.
