It is never a good idea to fight at a sporting event. it’s even worse to do so when you are outnumbered.
One Edmonton Oilers who was at the Rogers Arena this week was in the stadium cheering on his team during their season opener. It was not a good night for him as his team got blown out 8-1 as the Vancouver Canucks scored at least 2 goals in every period.
Things got even worse for that Oilers fan who was rocking a Connor McDavid jersey as he got into an argument with several fans in the stands and it led to the spilling of some beer.
At one point, it looked like the Oilers fan got smacked in the face with a beer.
He then struggled with another guy as they nearly fell over some seats. Upon being helped into a seat, he received a slap or punch to the face which made him almost attack the wrong guy behind him who was playing peacemaker.
Police and security would soon descend into the area to break things up.
