What in the LeBron James and Delonte West is going on in the NHL?
Wednesday will mark a week without veteran defenseman Corey Perry for the Blackhawks without any updates and it has allowed social media to go crazy over an insane rumor about his absence.
Connor Bedard is the talk of the town in the hockey world for good and bad reasons. He is anointed as the star who will save Chicago sports, but right now, he has to deal with a nasty rumor that has been floating on social media.
Corey Perry, the longtime NHL veteran and former Hart Memorial Trophy winner, has mysteriously vanished from the team after being a healthy scratch in Columbus last week. The team called it an “organizational decision” and said that he would be away from the team for the “foreseeable future,” however Perry’s agent said that he would be stepping away to handle “personal matters,” making it sound like this was his personal choice.
Soon a rumor surfaced that Perry was forced to leave the team because he got busted having sexual relations with Connor Bedard’s mother.

38-year old Corey Perry is rumored to have hooked up with Connor Bedard’s mom Melanie and that is why the team will not state why he is away.
However, it seems the fun is now over after insiders shot down the rumor. And deemed COMPLETELY FAKE!
“The Corey Perry rumor that’s going around is 100% false,” writes Chicago Blackhawks beat writer Charlie Roumeliotis. He adds, “Carry on, everyone.”
It was just a couple of days ago when Bedard was asked about Perry’s absence, he responded, “I’m not going to speak on it too much. Obviously, it sucks he’s not here but we don’t really have too much information on it or anything yet. But of course, he’s a big part of the team and it sucks he can’t be here today.”
If your teammate actually slept with your mother, you aren’t saying good things about him to the media.
When the alleged incident went down with LeBron and Delonte in the NBA, LeBron was never asked about it nor has he ever spoken Delonte’s name, which has only gotten people to think that the nasty rumor was true despite claims from the man himself.
The 38-year-old Perry was acquired in a trade from the Tampa Bay Lightning in June. He has four goals and five assists in 16 games this season.
A 19-year NHL veteran, Perry has 421 goals and 471 points across 1,273 games throughout his hockey career.
