When it comes to hockey, violence, especially fighting is tolerated in the sport.
What isn’t tolerated and frowned upon is cheap shots from one player to another.
That was the case on Tuesday night Bruins’ Brad Marchand was caught trying to sneak a punch to the back of the head of Jackets’ Scott Harrington after a whistle.
He then skated away like nothing happened. I guess he forgot that cameras are everywhere during a high-stakes playoff game.
What made this even worse is that Brad Marchand will reportedly avoid supplemental discipline for his actions late in the Bruins’ Game 3 loss to Columbus, reports The Athletic’s Aaron Portzline.
