In life, it’s all about appearance.
The Dallas Cowboys never have a problem selling out AT&T Stadium, because Jerry’s World is so freaking beautiful. Ditto for Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox. Or Staples World, home of the Los Angeles Lakers.
Other sports teams would certainly have better attendance if their stadiums and arenas were fancier. Instead, the quality of the playing surface is terrible, the location isn’t ideal, and the venue just doesn’t stand out much.
