Baltimore Ravens rookie Zay Flowers is a rich young man.
The former Boston College wide receiver realized his dream this year, making it to the NFL, with the Ravens making him the No. 22 overall pick of the 2023 NFL Draft.
Flowers will hope to have a fruitful career in the pros but, if nothing else, he has already made more money than most people will see in a lifetime and has a contract that guarantees him a lot more.
The wideout signed a deal worth over $14 million with the Ravens in June and received a signing bonus of over $7 million. He’s going to be able to do a whole lot for himself and his family and Baltimore will hope to see him repay their faith on the field. Flowers will be playing with one of the best quarterbacks in the game in former MVP Lamar Jackson after all.
Speaking during a team meeting this week, the 22-year-old was asked for his name, school, and signing bonus, to which he replied, “Zay Flowers, Boston College, $7 million.”
The response was met with loud cheers and knocked fellow WR Odell Beckham Jr. off his feet.
