Aaron Rodgers should never do this again. Hopefully he’s learned his lesson.
The Green Bay Packers QB tried to throw a block on former teammate Za’Darius Smith, who is now a member of the Minnesota Vikings. Let’s just say it did not go down as Rodgers had planned.
After he picked himself up off the ground, Smith got in his face and the former teammates had some words for each other.
Smith and his Vikings have been getting the better of Rodgers and the Packers offense all afternoon, as they’ve limited the reigning MVP to under 200 yards and no touchdowns while picking him off once.
This performance was similar to what we saw from the Packers in week one of last season, when they were blown out in New Orleans. They followed up that loss by winning their next eight games.
We’ll see if they can bounce back in similar fashion in 2022.
