Along with his great day came a bit of luck as Titans kicker Randy Bullock missed a 49-yard field goal with 15 seconds left in overtime that would have tied the game.
The miss gave Robert Saleh his first win as the Jets coach as well as the rookie QB.
Wilson finished 21 of 34 for 297 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.
