This was one hell of a time for Lisa Wilson to post a video.
The theme of the weekend was Zach Wilson and his ex-girlfriend who is now dating his former best friend from BYU, who also plays WR for the Commanders.
On top of that news was his ex-girlfriend, Abbey Gile, revealing that the New York Jets QB slept with his mom’s best friend. Zach’s mother, Lisa, who is extremely active on her Instagram stories had noticeably gone social media dark for hours after the news dropped.
She would eventually return on Sunday afternoon by posting a video that talked about kids not being on social media and Satan stealing the kids.
Children don’t belong on social platforms. How did this happen? I had reached a point in my life that I thought I had mastered parenting. My oldest daughter was a professional dancer and amazing choreographer. She was married to great guy headed to medical school and she has since returned to school to become a Physical therapist assistant.
I have a kid in the NFL and 3 more playing or soon to be playing college football. I mean the last one, they just kinda fall in line right? I thought I had done all the things to teach her to recognize danger. I thought I had blocked her from outside influences and I mean she was my kid, so even if someone got in, she knew what to do.
I was wrong. I completely underestimated the degree of evil that was possible, in a little electronic device, I personally placed in my baby girls hand. Gone are the days of creepy ice cream trucks and stranger danger. Satan has found a way to come right into your home and steal your child, without you even noticing. The worst part? You let in and you even paid him to do it.
Thank God for a mothers intuition. The outcome could have been much worse. Believe me, I know life is much easier to just look the other way and pretend that you raised them so damn good, you have nothing to worry about.
But unfortunately, Satan is smarter than you are. Who’s going to take back the power of your title? You are the parent. You make the rules. Children want to be controlled. They want structure. It’s like swaddling them and holding them tight. It makes them feel loved.
It makes them feel like you care. If you don’t control them…. They will find someone who will.

Don’t expect Wilson to publicly speak out about these allegations as he gets set for his second season in the NFL.
