Jets were already fed up with Zach Wilson last year. They were expecting to not deal with him in 2023 after trading for Aaron Rodgers but a season-ending injury has put him back in the starting position.
Now the team is on a two-game skid and things are falling off the rails, mainly because of his bad quarterback play.
The Jets may be sticking with Zach Wilson as their starting quarterback, but the fan base will have a lot to say about it.
This past Sunday, the team lost to the New England Patriots in a game where both offenses weren’t particularly good, but the Jets couldn’t run or throw it. The Jets have gone 0-2 in Wilson’s starts this season after they lost future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers during the first series of the season opener.
After the game, a fan could be heard yelling at Wilson about the cost of tickets to come see him stink up the place.
The fan base is tired of wasting money.

Wilson has struggled in both games while head coach Robert Saleh has remained headstrong in keeping Wilson as his starter.
He is now 44-of-84 (52.4%) for 467 yards, two touchdowns, and four interceptions. He has a passer rating of 57 and a QBR of 27.0. He has failed to improve in over 30 starts into his career.
The time to pull the plug is right now if the Jets want to salvage this season.
