Zach Wilson thinks highly of himself, as he and anyone should.
The rookie QBs from the 2021 NFL Draft class were recently asked what they think their rating on the upcoming Madden NFL video game should be, and while some gave realistic answers, it was the New York Jets rookie who came through with a prediction that will not happen.
“My Madden rating should be 90 because… it’s like okay but it’s not great because I haven’t done anything yet,” Wilson explained.
Joe Burrow, the No. 1 overall pick and 2019 Heisman Trophy winner, was given a 76 overall in the classic football simulation. He led all rookies in multiple categories including toughness (96), break sack rating (83), throw under pressure (84), stamina (88), throwing on the run (86) and all three accuracy attributes.
Zach Wilson doesn’t have a chance of getting a 90-rating if someone like Burrow could only get a 76.
