Zach Ertz’s career with the Eagles might be over.
On Sunday Night Football, he played in what might be his final game for the team and was overcome by emotion while discussing his potential departure from Philadelphia.
He was unable to hold back tears.
“I think this city is the best city to play for, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience,” Ertz said. “This city means a lot to me. It means a lot to my family, and I’m thankful.”
Ertz has 561 receptions, 6,078 yards, and 36 touchdowns over eight seasons with the Eagles.
In Super Bowl LII, Ertz had seven catches for 67 yards and a TD.
