This is what sports are all about.
On Sunday at Raymond James Stadium, there was a young kid in the stands holding a sign that read, “Tom Brady helped me beat brain cancer.” He was seated just a few rows up behind the Buccaneers bench.
Towards the end of the game, the Bucs quarterback was made aware of it of the sign, so he walked over to the kid and gave him his cap. The young kid could not contain his emotions and started crying. It was clearly a big moment for him that he will never forget.
Good for Tom Brady and even better for that kid who kicked cancer’s ass!
Speaking of kicking ass, Tom did some of that on the field throughout the Bucs’ victory over the Bears. The 44-year-old vet had a four touchdown performance, giving him a league-leading 21 through the first seven weeks of the season.
