The XFL is a little less than a monthfrom beginning and things are starting to get real as players and teams get set for a grueling season that has high hopes of being entertaining and have staying power this time around.
On Tuesday, former Oklahoma Sooners WR Jeff Badet rocked a helmet visor that features an image of Allen Iverson during his famous ‘we talkin’ ‘bout practice’ presser.
Badet is now a WR for the Dallas Renegades.
The former three-star recruit failed to make the Minnesota Vikings roster in 2019, and even though he was perhaps the fastest player on the Vikings roster, with 4.3” 40 speed, he was unable to parley that into a roster spot.
He has never had a chance to play in an NFL regular season game. He will now get some much needed experience, exposure, and playing time in the XFL.
