After announcing it was suspending the remainder of the 2020 season due to fears of the coronavirus spreading, the XFL announced that it will indeed allow its young and talented players to sign contracts with NFL and CFL teams immediately.
The league, however, noted that they are fully committed to playing a full campaign in 2021 and beyond.
XFL standouts such as P.J. Walker, Cam Phillips, and Jordan Ta’amu are just three of the top talented players in the XFL that are expected to sign with an NFL squad.
Walker and Phillips were having great seasons as they led the Houston Roughnecks to a 5-0 record.
Hopefully 2021 can be better for the league and they actually finish a full year.
