With the 2023 XFL season having concluded, many of its players are eliciting NFL interest.
With so many players receiving invites and contracts in the NFL, it opens up more spots for other players to come in and play next year.
This week, the league announced that a rookie draft will take place on Friday, June 16th. The XFL also announced that their eight teams’ offseason rosters will expand to 90 from 51.
Over 20 XFL players from 2023 have signed NFL contracts and the list could grow in the coming weeks and months. If any signed players return to the XFL, their 2023 teams will retain their rights for 2024.
The 3.0 version of the XFL was able to complete a season unlike the 2.0 version back in 2020.

In 2020, McMahon decided to relaunch the XFL with the goal of establishing a sustainable and competitive football league. The new XFL season kicked off in February 2020 and featured eight teams from different cities across the United States.
Unfortunately, the relaunched XFL faced an unexpected setback due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After completing just five weeks of the regular season, the league suspended operations in March 2020. Shortly afterward, the XFL filed for bankruptcy, and its assets were put up for sale.
The Rock and his ex-wife would step in and fans have been thrilled ever since.
