Xavier Worthy’s mother completely stole the show after being spotted in the stands during his game against the New Orleans Saints.
The Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver went viral when he gave his mom, Nicky Jones, the best birthday present.
Jones was at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday, proudly cheering on her son and his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, as they took on the New Orleans Saints.
Since it was her birthday, Xavier Worthy presented his mom with the game ball after scoring a three-yard rushing touchdown during the fourth quarter, ultimately helping the Chiefs secure a 26-13 victory.
Immediately after taking the handoff from tight end Travis Kelce, the wide receiver rushed to the endzone and knew exactly how he wanted to celebrate. He ran to his mother in the stands and threw her the ball before the two shared a sweet hug.
The Chiefs shared a clip of the moment on X, writing, “Celebrating mom’s birthday with a touchdown.”
