Miami Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard is facing a lawsuit that alleges he secretly filmed sexual videos and shared them, which was reported last week by Andy Slater of Fox Sports 640.
Slater also noted that a woman was arrested for smashing Howard’s car with a baseball bat this year. He also shared a video of that moment.
This week, the Miami Dolphins cornerback’s lawyer is stating that the lawsuit is containing zero facts while exposing that the accuser asked for millions of dollars in a payout before she decided to move forward with this case.
“This is an anonymous lawsuit containing allegations, not facts,” said Howard’s lawyer, Brad Sohn. “It was filed after the accuser unsuccessfully asked to be paid tens of millions of dollars and has zero merit … I only ask that the press cover its eventual dismissal as strongly as it seems to be covering these allegations.”
The report further states the woman said she dated Howard during the first half of 2022. She made it clear the sex in the recordings was consensual but added she had no clue that the intimate moments were being recorded.

“Anyone can file a lawsuit,” Sohn said. “That does not remotely mean that this lawsuit … actually has merit. This will be fought against aggressively.”
This isn’t the first lawsuit Howard has faced within the past year, as a woman alleged he knowingly gave her a sexually transmitted disease.
ESPN noted in October 2022 that the woman initially sought a trial by jury and sued him for more than $30,000.
Howard is entering the eighth season of his NFL career. He has been with the Dolphins since they selected him with a second-round pick in the 2016 draft.
