Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes had the most epic response to Joe Burrow’s brand-new haircut.
Joe Burrow has decided to change his appearance ahead of his fifth NFL season. Burrow ditched the signature wavy brown hair and chose a blonde hair color and buzzcut.
Folks are comparing Burrow’s new look to award-winning rapper Eminem and the aforementioned Cody Rhodes, who recently hit the 100-day mark as the Undisputed WWE Champion:
Rhodes’ mentions on X/Twitter must have blown up quickly, because it didn’t take him long to chim in on Joe Burrow’s new haircut. The beloved WWE superstar encouraged the fifth-year QB, telling him, “Time to finish your story this season.”
Rhodes’ tweet included his signature neck tattoo and the WWE Championship belt photoshopped onto Burrow:

“Finish the story” was a popular phrase for Rhodes and his fans on the road to WrestleMania 40. He lost his championship match to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 but completed the “story” by handing Reigns his first singles loss in over four years at WrestleMania 40.
Joe Burrow and his Bengals entered 2023 as a prime favorite to win Super Bowl 58 last season. Unfortunately, Burrow suffered a season-ending wrist injury in the team’s Week 11 road loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
Burrow’s injury essentially derailed the Bengals’ Super Bowl hopes after back-to-back AFC Championship appearances. Though Cincy finished 9-8. it wasn’t enough to make the playoffs as their three division rivals each reached the postseason with double-digit wins.

Burrow’s road to “finishing the story” will begin on Sept. 8, when his Bengals welcome the New England Patriots in the season opener. This will mark the Pats’ first game without Bill Belichick as head coach since 1999.
If Burrow stays healthy, the Bengals are by far the biggest threat to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC. Burrow is 3-1 against Patrick Mahomes, after all.
