Alabama wideout Jameson Williams will likely hear his name called tonight.
The former Alabama receiver has trended in recent days leading up to Thursday’s NFL draft.
On Wednesday, the WR dropped some big news about which team confirmed to him that they would be calling his name on draft night.
“They told me they would love to see me alongside DeVonta [Smith]. I think that would be an explosive offense and something that nobody has seen before.”
If the Eagles do select him, he will likely start his career on the PUP list, according to Albert Breer of SI.com.
Williams suffered a torn ACL in the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship game. Assuming he is placed on the physically unable to perform list, the rookie wideout wouldn’t be able to make his NFL debut until at least Week 7, which would be late October.

He said at the NFL combine in early March that he was given a five-to-seven month timetable for recovery and that he was told he was “ahead of schedule.”
