This isn’t McGinest’s first run-in with the law. Back in 1990, when he was still a student at USC, McGinest and two of his teammates were charged with battery and false imprisonment. A 23-year-old summer school counselor at USC accused the trio of dragging her into a dorm room and sexually assaulting her. McGinest and his two teammates denied the allegations and were eventually acquitted of all charges.
McGinest finished his NFL career with 582 tackles, 86 sacks, 16 forced fumbles and five interceptions.
