Will Levis has not gotten off to a great start to life in the pros.
The former Penn State and Kentucky quarterback experienced a slip from the first round of the draft earlier this year, much to his public embarrassment. The Tennessee Titans took him as the second pick of the second round but wasted no time announcing he’d go into the season as their third-string QB.
He has been handed the opportunity to compete with Ryan Tannehill and Malik Willis for the starting job. But, if the footage below is anything to go by, he could have some difficulty usurping either of them.
A video of the signal-caller missing a practice net entirely surfaced online this week and fans are torching him over it.

Surely, we can’t grade the 23-year-old based on this single clip. Hopefully, he gets enough time on the pitch in preseason to give us a proper look. And, should Tannehill remain the team’s QB1, it would be an indication of how that battle went.
Levis boasts impressive size, strength, and athleticism. But his passing does leave a lot to be desired, which is why he did not end up getting selected in the first round.
“I’m not going to beat myself up about it too much,” the player said after the practice session. “It’s motivation to go out there and perform to the best of your ability.”
