When it comes to which quarterbacks will be selected first in the 2023 NFL Draft, most experts have C.J. Stroud and Bryce Young. However, that may not be the case.
Kentucky’s Will Levis reportedly quietly visited with the Houston Texans recently.
Via NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport:
“From the teams that went to dinner with him, the Carolina Panthers, the Las Vegas Raiders spent time with him, Mike Vrabel from the Tennessee Titans spent time with him. [Levis] actually pretty quietly had a top-30 visit with the Houston Texans; that happened over the last several weeks.”
The Carolina Panthers currently hold the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s draft after moving up for the selection in a trade with the Chicago Bears. The franchise has been doing its due diligence in looking at each of the top quarterbacks available.
The Panthers are likely to take Young over Stroud at No. 1. The Houston Texans are expected to take whichever QB is left after the Panthers make their decision. However, anything can change.

According to Rapoport, “As far as the range [for Levis], it seems anything from [No.] 3 to probably somewhere in the teens is possible.
Levis is 6’4″, weighs 230 pounds, and has a rocket of a right arm. His quick release and powerful arm makes him a candidate for any QB-needy team.
