Levis was widely projected to be a top-five or 10 draft selection. But in what will go down in an all-time draft stunner, the strong-armed Kentucky signal-caller didn’t even get selected in round one.
Levis was finally drafted by the Titans in round two at No. 33 overall, making him the fourth quarterback selected in this year’s class. Alabama’s Bryce Young and Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud were the first and second overall picks to the Carolina Panthers and Houston Texans, respectively. With the No. 4 selection, the Indianapolis Colts selected Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson.
Tennessee’s Hendon Hooker was another surprise fall in the draft. Many thought he’d be a first-round pick, but Hooker didn’t go until No. 68 overall to the Detroit Lions in round three.
