Wild Conspiracy Surfaces on Reddit Accusing NFL Vice President of Football Operations Of Suspending Mike Evans For Other Reasons (PIC)

The people on Reddit can come up some crazy conspiracy theories and now we have one regarding the Tampa Bay Bucs.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set to take on the Green Bay Packers in Week 3 without star wide receiver Mike Evans after his behavior in Week 2.

Evans has been suspended one game by the NFL for his role in a fight that broke out on Sunday against the Saints. That suspension was issued by NFL vice president of football operations Jon Runyan.

Here is where the conspiracy comes in.

Runyan’s son, Jon Runyan Jr., is a starting offensive lineman for the Packers, so people on Reddit believes the suspension gives the Packers a much better chance to win the game without Evans on the field.

The NFL will alert Evans, who’s appealing a one-game suspension, of its decision Wednesday.

Sources confirmed the Mike Evans appeal will be heard today. James Thrash is the appeals officer. He is jointly appointed by the NFL and NFLPA.

Sources: Mike Evans, his agent, the NFLPA and the #Bucs just finished their hearing regarding Evans’ one-game suspension appeal. I’m told the league plans to alert Evans of its final decision tomorrow.

In the meantime, the Bucs also signed Cole Beasley to their practice squad Tuesday and could promote him to the active roster if Evans, Godwin, and/or Jones are sidelined.
