Fans were losing it online after noticing that Wikipedia had a current NFL star listed as “deceased” over the weekend.
Denver Broncos star Courtland Sutton is alive and well. The wide receiver helped his team to a 24-7 win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, hauling in three receptions for 62 yards and one touchdown. But the aforementioned resource may have listed him as having passed away on Saturday.
Two Reddit accounts posted screenshots suggesting that the wideout met his end. One of them showed that the player was listed as deceased on December 9 by Wiki while the other was a grab from a Google search that also turned up a deceased listing for the player while claiming he was alive from 1995-2023.
“Its not funny at all, people are sick,” one user wrote.
“I couldn’t find any news on this except google says he did,” another wrote.

“Court updated his IG story 3 minutes ago. Nothing to fear everyone,” another said, much to the relief of everyone.
As mentioned above, Courtland is very much alive and should be pleased with himself following a sixth win for the Broncos in their last seven games. The Broncos are now 7-6 and are second in the AFC West after their torrid start to the season.
Having the wide receiver alive and healthy has been great for the team. Long may it continue.
