Wife Speaks Out After Her Husband Was Cut By The Jets So They Could Make Room For Aaron Rodgers (VIDEO)

The New York Jets made an unexpected move this week as they announced having released a player so Aaron Rodgers could be activated to their 53-man roster.

The decision was a surprising one as Rodgers won’t be playing any football this season, though he teased fans and had them hoping. Head coach Robert Saleh would explain that the quarterback wouldn’t be able to practice with the team had he been kept on the injured reserve. So fullback Nick Bawden had to handle the unfortunate news of getting cut to make room on the active roster for the rehabbing quarterback.

Bawden’s wife, Alexis, responded to concerned fans in the comments of one of her TikTok videos, assuring them that he would be back by today. 

“I’m so pissed they cut Nick. I hope they re-sign him,” one fan said.

“He’s fine!! Haha will be back on the team tomorrow,” Alexis replied.
