Sydney Warner, the wife of San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner, has shared some NFL inside info, including how wives and girlfriends share beds with their partners ahead of games.
The former The Bachelor contestant recently took to TikTok to reveal her horrible experience at the Philadelphia Eagles’ Lincoln Field, where she watched her husband lose to the home team and crash out of Super Bowl contention two Sundays ago.
She was back on TikTok with some NFL secrets ahead of the mega event
“Get ready with me while I tell you guys some surprising things about the NFL that I didn’t know before meeting my husband,” she announced as she began (H/T The Sun).
Sydney touched on salaries first, claiming that, contrary to popular belief, NFL stars don’t have their stipends delivered by a truck and get a paycheck like everyone else.
One might assume that players’ families get to see them play for free, yet that isn’t the case.

“All your tickets to games, home and away, aren’t free.,” Sydney revealed. “They are at a discounted rate, but they’re not free.
“You have to ask for those passes and if you get cleared you get one, you don’t just get them every game. You have to ask and be approved.”
Her most startling revelation, though, was one pertaining to bed-sharing and what’s supposed to go down when beds are shared. Unfortunately for 49ers players and their partners, nothing goes down the night before a game as they don’t even get to sleep in the same bed.
“You’re not allowed to spend the night with your significant other on away games or home games,” Sydney disclosed.
“For away games they are obviously in a hotel, but if I choose to go to the same hotel, we’re not allowed to be in the same room and then home games they also sleep in a hotel.”
According to Sydney, the players have strict lights-out rules and have to be in bed by 10:30 PM and get bed-checked by team staff.
“These are all things that are specific to our team, our organization, our city, and our situation,” she noted.
Fred and Sydney have been married since June of last year. It appears she’s a fast learner.
