The NFL trade deadline is right around the corner, and this year’s edition is shaping up to be one of the wildest we’ve ever seen.
We’ve already seen one of the biggest names in the game get dealt, as the San Francisco 49ers acquired running back Christian McCaffrey from the Carolina Panthers in exchange for four draft picks. And it sounds like there could be plenty more big names on the move in the coming days.
The wide receiver market is especially intriguing, with several star pass-catchers believed to be available, and multiple teams looking to address their receiving corps.
According to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, there’s three big names we should all be keeping our eye on: the Houston Texans’ Brandin Cooks, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Chase Claypool, and the Denver Broncos’ Jerry Jeudy.
Whether or not any of these wideouts get dealt remains to be seen. If they do, it probably won’t be for cheap—at least not in the case of Chase Claypool.

Some of the teams who are expected to dip into the wide receiver market ahead of the trade deadline include the Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers.
You’d have to think that Cooks, Claypool and Jeudy would all love the opportunity to catch passes from either Patrick Mahomes or Aaron Rodgers, especially when you consider the state of their current teams’ quarterback situations.
