The Seattle Seahawks are looking in a big mess right now. With each passing day, new names are being added to their list of injuries. First, it was the wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr., who suffered an oblique injury. Adding to their woes further, Dee Williams too, has joined the dreaded list. Playing against the 49ers, Williams got into a big mess as he was seen struggling in pain. Being carted off from the field, Williams made the tension levels of his fans go up. Here are the details of what exactly went down with the Seahawks’ star.
How Serious Is Dee Williams’ Injury?
Coming to the NFL, everybody has their dream ‘NFL moment’ in their mind. Unfortunately, for Williams, this was not quite the ‘welcome to the NFL’ moment that he had in mind. Showing immense promise as a Key Returner, the 24-year-old had a bad fall. In a bid to block Kenny McIntosh, things got worse for Williams on the opening kickoff of the second half.
Looking in significant pain, Williams was carted off the pitch. And while the concerns began to mount in the audience, their worst fears came true moments later. With the official update coming in, Williams was out of the game. “CB Dee Williams will not return to the game (ankle),” read the statement.

However, there has been no official news of how bad his injury is and for how long Williams will be missing his games. Meanwhile, while it turned out to be a gloomy outing, Dee Williams’ ascension to the NFL has been nothing short of marvelous.
