Andy Reid has proven himself to be one of the best coaches in the NFL circuit. Reid started his career with the Philadelphia Eagles when he took up the job back in 1999. However, after continuing at his position till 2012, Reid opted for a change. He joined the Kansas City Chiefs in 2013 and since then, it has been no less than a joyride. But behind his incredible success lies a happy family. And the one person responsible for maintaining happiness in his life has been Reid’s wife, Tammy Reid. Here’s everything that you need to know.
Who Is Andy Reid’s Wife?
Andy Reid married his wife, Tammy Reid way back in 1981. Born on November 6, 1959, Tammy was initially based out of Memphis, while she later shifted to Arizona. After completing her high school, Tammy got herself registered at the Brigham Young University, where she crossed paths with Andy Reid for the first time. Signing up for the same tennis class, Tammy immediately found Reid cute and wanted to ask him out.
While both Tammy and Andy did not approach each other for a date initially, the duo strengthened their bond by playing badminton and racquetball together. However, as time went by, love blossomed and the duo began going on several dates throughout their semester. However, things were not easy as Tammy’s father initially did not approve of Andy. In fact, Tammy’s father asked the NFL icon to join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
