The Buffalo Bills (12-3) will play the Cincinnati Bengals (11-4) on Monday of Week 17. This game will help us gauge which direction the AFC Playoffs are going. If Buffalo wins and the Chiefs lose, they will clinch the number one seed and a first-round bye in the AFC. If the Bengals win and the Ravens lose or tie, they will clinch the AFC North. Either way, it’s going to be an exciting game, as either of these teams could end up representing the conference in the Super Bowl. Let’s dive into the Week 17 Injury Report Buffalo Bills Vs Cincinnati Bengals.
Bengals Injury Report Week 17
The Bengals were back on the practice field Thursday with the first practice of the week. There were a few key names that are now showing promise for the big matchup against the Bills.
Sam Hubbard Injury Update
The Bengals defensive end missed last week’s game with a calf injury. He practiced in a limited capacity, which could mean that he will be able to return to play on Monday. There is a possibility that he is still one week away from returning, but having an extra day of rest and being limited in practice could help him trend in the right direction.
Hayden Hurst Injury Update
Hayden Hurst was able to practice fully on Thursday after being sidelined for three weeks with a calf injury. “I’m ready to go,” Hurst said on Thursday. His return would send Mitchel Wilcox back to the number two tight end spot on the depth chart.
La’el Collins Injury Update
The Bengals offensive tackle was listed as a non-participant after initial reports suggested that he would be out for the season with a knee injury. Head coach Zac Taylor said he is not optimistic about his early return, but he is still not listed on IR. This could be a promising sign that he will eventually be able to play again this season. Joe Burrow hinted that Isaiah Price might step in at right tackle following the injury.
Cornerback Jalen Davis and wideout Trent Taylor were listed as full participants for Thursday’s practice.

Stefon Diggs Injury Update
Stefon Diggs is still expected to play on Monday after being listed with an illness on the Thursday Injury Report. He tweeted about how much he hates cooking for himself, so people are speculating that he might have a bout of self-inflicted food poisoning. With three full days until the matchup, we are expecting him to be good to go.
Josh Allen Injury Update
Star quarterback Josh Allen was on the injury report again with an elbow injury. He’s been playing through this injury since their Week 6 loss to the Jets, and is expected to continue to play through it on Monday. Allen will need to be tip-top, as the Bengals have a great defense.
Jordan Poyer Injury Update
Safety Jordan Poyer did not participate in practice on Thursday after playing through a knee injury last Saturday against Chicago. He had back-to-back DNP’s prior to playing in week 16, so there is a chance that staff is allowing him the rest he needs to hit the field Monday against Cincinnati. His absence could potentially be a big hit for Buffalo. For reference, Buffalo is undefeated this season when Poyer records an interception.
