After dropping the Redskins logo and nickname, the Washington Football Team has plenty of aesthetic choices to make for the year.
It appears we now know what FedEx Field will look like this fall. In the end zones, the team is going with the text “Washington Football Team” logo.
In the center of the field will just be an NFL shield.

After it was announced that the franchise would be renamed, a number of potential nicknames were floated on social media, with options like “Washington Red Wolves,” “Washington Red Tails,” and “Washington Warriors.”
Also this week, the team continued to scrub away its past, this time renaming two roads — one outside its stadium and another at its practice facility — in honor of Sean Taylor and Joe Gibbs.

The organization renamed the road leading into its practice facility Coach Gibbs Drive. The other particular stretch of road leading into FedEx Field will be known as Sean Taylor Road.
