Over the past month or so, Washington Football fans have pondered to themselves about what the team could be going with after the franchise retired their nickname and logo after completing a thorough review that began on July 3. “Today, we are announcing we will be retiring the Redskins name and logo upon completion of this review,” the team said in a statement.
On social media, the “Red Wolves” have become a fan-favorite for the Washington Football Team’s new mascot, which has gotten a fan to bring the name to life with incredibly detailed and realistic logo and uniform designs for the hypothetical name.
Bryant Senghor, or @g1zmo3squire on Instagram, released his most updated Red Wolves logo design a few days ago.
Sports Business Daily reported that the announcement of a new name has been delayed because trademark issues are pending.
