The Washington Commanders have their eyes on several incoming star college quarterbacks, and that recently led them to an interesting decision this week.
Senior NFL Reporter Albert Breer revealed that the Washington Commanders will be hosting LSU Tigers quarterback Jayden Daniels, North Carolina Tar Heels quarterback Drake Maye, Michigan Wolverines quarterback JJ McCarthy, and Washington Huskies quarterback Michael Penix all at the same time, which will be either today or on Tuesday.
Breer added that quarterbacks are part of a much larger group of prospects coming in.
The Washington Commanders hold the No. 2 overall pick in the draft, and many believe that the franchise will take a quarterback, most notably LSU’s Jayden Daniels. The Heisman trophy winner threw for 3,812 yards, 40 touchdowns, and just four interceptions while completing 72.2 percent of his passes in 12 games played.
He would further add to his ability to turn the Washington Commanders around as he rushed the ball 135 times for 1,134 yards and ten touchdowns while averaging an eye-watering 8.4 yards a carry.
