The Washington Commanders are coming off one of their best seasons in the last 30 years, and now they plan to look differently in 2025.
Bram N. Weinstein, the Commander’s play-by-play broadcaster, reported that the team plans to make some small adjustments to its uniforms for the 2025 season.
Weinstein also added that fans should not expect a name change despite so much uproar for the team to go back to being the Redskins.

The Washington Commanders’ last uniform change was in 2022 when they introduced their new name and uniforms.
Just before the 2024 season, the franchise decided to bring back gold pants alongside their burgundy jerseys and helmets.
Before this past season, they last wore that combination at the end of the 2018 season.

Washington sidelined the gold pants in 1978 but returned in 2010 for eight seasons. This did not help much, as the team made two playoff appearances without a single postseason win.
The Washington Commanders Might Already Have A Super Bowl Contender
On January 26, the Washington Commanders played in the NFC Championship for the first time since 1991, 33 years ago.
Even though they got blown out, the team can hold their head high for a job well done.
The Commanders had a terrible season just the year before, ending 4-13.
They finished the season with the league’s worst defense, which led them to the second-best pick in the 2024 NFL draft.
With the second overall pick, the Commanders took quarterback Jayden Daniels, and now the team might be a Super Bowl contender after just one season.
