The Bills have agreed to a contract with undrafted former USC cornerback Olaijah Griffin. You may not recognize the player, but you will surely know his father. He’s the son of hip hop legend Warren G.
Known for his hit song, “Regulate,” with the late Nate Dogg that was released in 1994, Warren G offered a show of support for his son and newest team this week.
“I’m rooting for my son to come there and make the team and add value to the mafia success,” he wrote on Twitter. “He is a true baller and built his own stage for himself. I’m just a dad supporting my Son.”
“Let’s regulate #BillsMafia,” Griffin wrote on Twitter.
Everything was all bad after both father and son sat through the draft and never heard his name called.

“This draft shit was one of the hardest things I been through besides losing my mother, mother-in-law, my grandparents and aunties and brother and for things to go the way they went was totally exhausting,” he wrote.
“I love football but it will be a long time before I get back into it again that’s just me. Fuck everybody who had something to say #CarSalesmen.”
Griffin recorded one interception during the compact 2020 season as a junior.
In total, Griffin accounted for 67 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 13 pass breakups and one interception.
