The Minnesota Vikings went to Detroit and, unfortunately, lost the game. Their wives and girlfriends also had to deal with some unruly fans in the Lions fanbase.
Multiple wives of Vikings players took to social media to describe how brutally they were treated by Lions fans at Ford Field.
Dalton Risner’s wife kicked it off by stating she was inappropriately touched and heckled.
Andrew Van Ginkel’s wife said it was the worst she has ever experienced., saying, “I’ve honestly never been treated so poorly by another team’s fan base as I was on Sunday… the other 13 girls said the same thing.”
This was just the beginning.
Things apparently got so bad for the wives and girlfriends that nine security guards had to intervene and protect them from the crowd.

If The Minnesota Vikings Want Revenge, Then They Need To Advance In The Playoffs
On Sunday night, the Vikings lost to the Detroit Lions 31-9 in a winner-take-all game.
To make things worse, wives and girlfriends of players had a pretty rough night from the local fan base.
It was a tough loss for the Vikings, who will face the Los Angeles Rams on Monday night and could return to Ford Field.
Lions head coach Dan Campbell told Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell, “I’ll see you in two weeks.”
If the Minnesota Vikings want revenge, they just need to handle business in the playoffs, and they will be right back at Ford Field.
