Von Miller has teased a return to playing sooner rather than later following his return to practice.
The Buffalo Bills linebacker hasn’t played since November 2022, having torn his ACL during a Week 12 fixture against the Detroit Lions. And he’s hoping he could play his first game of the season off American soil.
With the Bills set for a 9:30 a.m. clash vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars this coming Sunday, Miller has suggested he could have some involvement.
“I don’t know if the fans can expect to see me yet, but if I was a betting man I would say yeah, you can expect to see Von Miller in London,” he said on his ‘The Voncast’ this week (H/T B/R Gridiron).
“I’ll give you a little inside scoop,” he also told a fan. “I’m 90% that I’ll be there in London. I’ll be ready.”
Miller ended his first season in Buffalo on the injured reserve and began this one on the physically unable to perform list, which meant an automatic four-game absence.

Head coach Sean McDermott revealed on Monday that the player would return to practice this week. Teams have three weeks to decide whether to activate a PUP player once they return to practice and, according to Stacey Dales of NFL Network, the Bills will make a decision before their game on Sunday.
“It’s still not a promise that I play in this game,” Miller added. “I want to play in this game. I gotta practice tomorrow and I only get one padded practice. So obviously I got out there and I [need to] look amazing with this padded practice. Cause the difference is, like in training camp, you get multiple padded practices to kinda like figure your game out.
“I just get one padded practice tomorrow and then we have a shells practice on Thursday and then we fly to London on Thursday night.
“I really don’t have all the time in the world to like figure it out. I get one padded practice. So hopefully I look amazing tomorrow. I feel really strongly that I will. That’s just how I think I feel like I will be amazing tomorrow and everybody will give me the green light to go play in the game.”
The LB is really looking forward to playing his first game in London and says he’s pushing for it.
“Who knows how many chances I’ll get to play in London, so I want this to happen,” he pointed out.
Bills fans will be hoping he gets his wish.
