Von Miller made the move to the Los Angeles Rams at the trade deadline in 2021, and it resulted in his second Super Bowl title.
Now, the future Hall of Fame linebacker is set to hit the open market for the first time in his career — although, it doesn’t look like he’s about to take his time with this decision. Based on a recent story he posted to his Instagram account, it sure looks like Miller has his mind made up regarding his future.
On Sunday, Miller took to IG to post the well-known Spongebob “To-Do List” meme, which had “NFC West Champs,” NFC Champions,” and “Super Bowl Champions” all crossed out, with only “Run It Back” left to do.
Based on this post, it appears as though Miller is trying to tell his fans that he plans to stay with the Rams, as they look to run it back and become the first team to win back-to-back Super Bowls since the 2003 and 2004 New England Patriots.
You’d also have to imagine that the Rams have similar plans for Miller, as it’s highly doubtful that Von would post something like this without having the assurance of L.A.’s front office that they intend to bring him back.
Miller will be 33-years-old at the start of the 2022 season. He may not be the player he once was, but he still has plenty left in the tank and can help any team looking to bolster their pass-rush. Unfortunately for the other 31 NFL teams, it doesn’t appear as though they’ll get their shot at signing the Rams linebacker this offseason.
