Just one week ago, Von Miller provided Buffalo Bills fans with a positive update on his injury status.
While speaking on a podcast, he suggested that he would only need 7 to 10 days to let the swelling in his knee go down, and he’d hopefully be back for this week’s game against the New York Jets…
Fast forward to today, and it appears as though Miller’s assessment was way off, as news broke that he will now miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL.
According to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Bills head coach explained to the media that Miller had exploratory surgery on Tuesday, and they wound up having to repair his ACL.
It’s a huge loss for the Bills, who currently find themselves atop the AFC standings. Miller was having an impressive first season in Buffalo, racking up eight sacks and a forced fumble in 11 games played.
